American Business Equipment, Inc. is a full service office equipment dealer serving the Southwestern Michigan area since 1994. We are an Authorized Dealer for Sharp Digital Imaging Products offering the latest in MFP technology and commercial grade laser printers and fax machines. We also represent several additional manufacturers’ in other areas of the market in order to best meet the expanding requirements of today’s office environment. Our other lines of equipment include: Okidata, Hewlett Packard and Konica Minolta for black and white and full color laser printers, Sony and Phillips for voice messaging systems (i.e. dictation and transcription), Intimus, Fellowes, GBC and Shreddex for paper shredders and folders and Nakajima for electronic typewriters.

And through our partnership with Integrated Technology Group, Inc. we now offer custom built computers and servers as well as repair, troubleshooting, daily, weekly or monthly penetration studies, virus elimination with guaranteed future protection, on site or off site data back up and storage as well as “A to Z” support for your current network.

In order to continue to meet the increasing demands of our customers we currently staff seven service technicians in our Kalamazoo facility with well over 100 years of combined service experience!  In addition, we also have two full time I.T. technicians allowing us to meet even your most demanding requirements, while offering service response times and assistance that is second to none in our business community.          

In addition to our new products lines, we also offer substantial discounts on much of the same equipment by purchasing a portion of our inventory from over 60 leasing companies nationwide (primarily newly repossessed equipment). Once purchased, each machine is completely gone through componant by componant to ensure that they are brought right back to factory specifications prior to placing them back into service. Once complete, our Certified Remanufactured equipment carries the same warranty as our brand new equipment. In fact, this idea has been so well accepted by the business community over the years that we have been able to place literally hundreds of late model repossessions back into service at greatly discounted prices.
